All new residents are given a Service User Guide which covers all aspects of being a resident in an Oakleaf Group service. This is also helpful for family members and supporters.

One of the Managers or the dedicated Family Liaison Worker will make contact with family members and other people involved in the person’s life to find out how we can best communicate with and support them.

The support offered to each resident and their family / supporters is different depending on each person’s situation. Our Family Liaison Team often visit the family where they feel most comfortable –  in their own home, to discuss any difficulties or just to listen. We understand what families go through at this difficult time and we can help to put things into perspective as well as offering practical advice, information and support.
